I designed a Delta Sigma ADC in Cadence Virtuoso, optimized for area and speed. I utilized a second order CIC filter (Cascaded Integrator Comb) over an FIR filter, as it does not use multipliers, which helps reduce area and increase speed. It has a full-custom layout with an area of 0.007 mm2  and operates with an output data rate of 15.6 MHz.
